About Lost & Hound
Pets are precious to us! We all love our best friends, but sometimes they can be escape artists.
At Lost & Hound we aim to reunite people with their pets. If you have lost a pet, or found someone else's, please add a detailed listing to the app.
Here's how it works:
Create a listing under the “Lost” tab for your pet. Click the + to begin. Add a photo, a detailed description and the location where you last saw your pet. If someone finds your pet, they will get in touch with you via messaging.
Create a listing under the “Found” tab for the pet. Click the + to begin. Add a photo, a detailed description and the location where you found the animal. If you found someone's pet, they will be able to get in touch with you via the app.
On the Lost tab you can see all the listings of the lost pets within a 10km radius of the area you are currently in. On the Found tab, you can input an animal type, a keyword and a search radius of up to 30km.
Once you have spotted your escape artist, or recognised someone else's, you can send a private message to find out more.
